Actual Proof

Actual Proof is an instrumental funk and fusion trio that draws inspiration from groove oriented musicians and groups such as The Meters, Herbie Hancock, Martin, Medeski and Wood, and Galactic. The group's instrumentation is: vibes, marimba, keys, bass, guitar, drums and electronic percussion.Actual Proof’s repertoire includes rich grooves and original compositions that explore rhythmic possibilities. The group performs regularly in the Charlotte area and you might have heard of them performing in a NC town near you.

The band has released one official CD, Paradigm Shift, and some of the group's live shows have been posted for download on the CLMS website (carolinalivemusic.com) so fans can get better acquainted with their sound. The musical style of the band is actual proof that jazz and funk can be great friends and with the addition of the live vibraphone experience, a ton of fun!
