ANNOUNCEMENT: First Round of Artists for The GETDOWN! 2010 & Winner of Free Ticket

Hello fellow GETDOWN Family & Friends! We hope this note finds you well and in a positive space ;-)

With the new location settled now on 50 private, sprawling acres in the Piedmont of North Carolina; and with less than five months until we are gonna be gettin' down and breaking it in - we are eager to share the first round of artists for The GETDOWN 2010!

For those of you who filled out our survey; you spoke and we listened!

You wanted more space...Well our new site has the space we need with beautiful, open fields with wooded camping and a natural, grassy amphitheater. We are even starting a day earlier this year for those of us that just can't get enough of gettin' down!

You wanted more camping space...this go-round we will have several camping options with space to stretch your legs, multiple designated campfire pits, at least twice as many vendors, more space for vehicle camping and plans for a full 18-hole disc golf course.

Congratulations to Blake Brown from Raleigh! Blake is our winner of TGD2010 win-'em-before-you-can-buy-'em ticket!

Again, thank you to all who filled out our survey. Your responses were moving and inspiring. Your opinions and suggestions help us improve our beloved festival and give us better direction so that we may give you more of want you want!
