The Info

The GETDOWN is around the corner again. Are you ready?!?!? Mark your calendars and tell your friends! The 3rd Annual GETDOWN Music Festival & Campout is ON for Labor Day weekend, September 1st - 4th, 2011. In our usual form, we'll be showcasing the best local and regional music in the country with nearly three dozen acts playing on multiple stages over four days - with no overlapping sets! The GETDOWN is being held again in Mebane, North Carolina. The gorgeous property is conveniently nestled between Greensboro and Raleigh and features a natural grassy amphitheater with beautiful sprawling fields and woods. Ample vehicle-camping spaces are available alongside plenty of primitive wooded campsites for those who like to rough it. You can dip your toes in the creek to cool off and then heat up again with a round of disc golf right there on site.

The ultimate goal of The GETDOWN is to bring together families and friends for funky fun in the sun, and to experience incredibly good live music from some bands that you know and love, and to get exposed to new music that you might not have otherwise discovered. We simply live by our motto: Bringing GOOD Music to GOOD People!

Join us for a long weekend of music, dancing, smiling, reuniting with old friends, making new friends, community building and sharing the love within each of us.
